The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the College of Charleston invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in August 2015. Successful candidates will have earned a Ph.D. by the time of appointment. While preference will be given to a Ph.D. in Sociology, applicants with a strong background in Sociology and a Ph.D. in Public Health, Criminology or Demography are also encouraged to apply. Application deadline is Sept. 1, 2014.

The St. Louis College of Pharmacy invites candidates to apply for a tenure-track, academic year, assistant / associate professorship in medical sociology starting Fall 2015. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. with a subfield in medical sociology. Review of applications will begin on July 22 and successful candidates will be invited to preliminary interviews at the ASA meeting in San Francisco in August.
