Last Call for Syllabi for Research Project Three sociology faculty have begun a research project on Introduction to Sociology and Social Problems syllabi. We want to examine the required course content for both classes.
We are asking for individuals to volunteer to send us your syllabus for one or both classes, if you have taught either class in the last three years (2012-2015).

The University of South Dakota invites applications for the position of Department Chair of Anthropology and
Sociology and Associate or Full Professor of Sociology. Tenure will be considered based on credentials and experience. The department seeks an effective, practical leader with a clear vision for the disciplines of Anthropology and Sociology. The University of Nebraska at Omaha invites applications for the position of Director of the Office of Latino/Latin American Studies (OLLAS). Candidates whose research, publications and engagement record qualify them for an additional faculty appointment with tenure in a relevant department will be considered for such appointments, however the primary appointment will be as OLLAS Director. Rank and salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications. The Director will report directly to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Targeted start date is summer 2016, but the start date is negotiable. The position will remain open until the desired candidate is found. The Director must possess a Ph.D.in a relevant discipline.
