Call for 2010 Nominations for MSS Social Action Awards
The MSS Social Action Committee invites MSS members to nominate community-based organizations for one annual $1,000 Social Action award. The nominated organization must be in the regional or local area; however, other organizations from the MSS region or an international organization that affects the local or regional area will be considered.  The award recognizes grassroots work that reflects social justice and social change. The awards will be presented at the 2010 Annual Meeting in Chicago.

Please include the following information when nominating an organization:
1.Organization’s name, address, phone and fax number
2.Name of a contact person
3.Brief (1-2 page) description of what the organization has donethat merits this award (a URL address of the organization's web site if
available).
