I can find a room elsewhere a little cheaper. Why should I stay at the conference hotel?

Meeting rooms are provided to us at not cost based on the number of hotel rooms booked for our conference. Please book your room at the conference hotel to help MSS meet room-night commitments and avoid financial penalties. When our room block fills, we will work to have another nearby hotel available for reservations. Ultimately, staying at the conference hotel helps us keep your registration rates affordable.

Our conference hotels are carefully chosen, years in advance, to provide the necessary number of meeting rooms, the best possible guest-room price, and a location for you that is safe, comfortable, and convenient.

Hotel Amenities

The hotel sits in the heart of downtown Milwaukee and is connected to the Baird Center. It is located near Miller High Life Theatre, American Family Field, and Turner Hall. All rooms include mini-fridges, in-room safes, and coffee makers. A 24/7/365 fitness center is on site and available for all guests.

Hotel Rates

A special hotel rate will be available at the conference hotel for those who reserve rooms through the MSS Annual Meeting room block. MSS standard room rates* are $149/night for single, double, triple, or quad occupancy. The room block closes February 22, 2027. 

*Rates do not include applicable taxes. Additional room types may be available at higher rates. Be sure to check the hotel website for cancellation fees and deadlines.

On Arrival

  • You must have a major credit card at check-in to guarantee payment.  
  • Check-in: 4:00 PM CT | Check-out: 11:00 AM CT

Parking

The hotel offers valet parking to all registered guests and guest attending on site events. Current hotel parking fees are:

  • Valet service: $45/night
  • Self-park: $36/night
